Maple Bars (using refrigerated biscuit dough)

  • 1 tube of Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mapleine or maple extract (found in the spice aisle of the grocery store, near the vanilla extract.
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
